The requirement for coordination of distributed energy resources in the future power system provides an incentive to move from current high level centralized control a more paradigm. In this paper, agent-based optimal flow is proposed optimize operation system. problem built general consensus optimization formulation matrix based formulation. agent then designed realize multi-agent cyber-physical Agents have ability collecting local measurement data, communicating with neighbor agents and implementing alternating direction method multiplier. Each accesses limited information but can give decision solve global problem. performance evaluated on IEEE 9 bus by using cyber Hardware-in-the-Loop platform cluster hardware agents, real-time simulator OPAL-RT real communication network.
